Haidiee V.L. Swisher

   Haidiee V.L. Swisher, 86, of Harrisonville, PA, passed away Thursday, December 12th, at Shippensburg Health Care Center, Shippensburg, PA.

     Haidiee was born in Rouzerville, PA on April 2, 1933, a daughter of the late Josephine (Pyle) and Jerry  Rowe.  She was the widow of Daniel "Leon" Swisher, whom she married on February 18, 1952.  He preceded her in death on March 12, 2010.

     Haidiee was a devoted and loving mother to her family.  She enjoyed reading, gardening and loved all animals.

     She is survived by her daughter Nancy A. Swisher, of McConnellsburg, PA, son David M. (husband of Kim) Swisher, of Harrisonville, PA and sister Connie Naumoff, of Blue Ridge Summit, PA.  She is also survived by a granddaughter Jessie Swisher of Harrisonville, PA and three great grandchildren Christian Duffey, Sarah Gross and Alexandria Swisher.  She was preceded in death by grandson B.J. Swisher, brothers Melvin, Paul, Harry, John, Ralph and Arvid "Grump" Rowe.

     Services are private at the convenience of family.
