Esperanza C. Garay

  Esperanza C. Garay, 96, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

     Esperanza was born in Havana, Cuba on March 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Maria (Carrio) and Francisco  Garay.  She was the widow of Guido  Quesada whom she married in 1945.

     She was employed by Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami, FL until her retirement and spent the majority of her years in Miami, Florida where she enjoyed volunteering and helping out where she could in her community.

     Mrs. Garay is survived by granddaughter Christina M. (wife of Dante) DeVivio, of Clear Spring, MD and was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara J. Quesada.

     Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
