Erma May Plessinger, 71, of Washington, PA passed away Friday, August 16th, 2019 at The Grove at Washington, Washington, PA.
Erma was born in Needmore, PA on May 12, 1948, the daughter of the late Esther B. (Wagner) and Marvin C. Plessinger.
She enjoyed doing search a word crossword puzzles, watching anything with Chuck Norris in it and listening to all kinds of music.
Erma is survived by son Melvin (husband of Holly) Gordon, Jr., of Fayetteville, PA, brothers Frank C. (husband of Michelle) Plessinger, of Greencastle, PA, Howard L. (husband of Betty) Plessinger, of Phillipsburg, PA, sisters Marian L. Wertz, of Warfordsburg, PA, Mary L. (wife of Thomas) Wilson, of Littlestown, PA, Barbara A. Hopkins, of McConnellsburg, PA, sister-in-laws Alma Plessinger, of Warfordsburg, PA, Marsha Gress, of Harrisonville, PA, grandchildren Zane and Kassidy. Erma is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion Melvin Gordon, Sr. who passed away in 2000, brothers Fred O., George Henry and Harold R. "Russ" Plessinger.
Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Thursday.
Interment at Stenger Hill Cemetery, Ft. Loudon, PA.
