Elmer L. Gordon, 58, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at his residence.
Elmer was born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 6, 1960, a son of Harold E. "Sammy" Gordon, of Harrisonville and the late Mary V. Naugle. He was the husband of Kimberly S. (Fleagle) Gordon, whom he married on December 8, 1989.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Skiles Excavating in Shippensburg, PA. Elmer was former member of the Dark Hollow BASS Club, Chambersburg, PA. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying anything that pertained to the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and yard work.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughters Tamara D. Skiles, of McConnellsburg, PA, Nicole L. (wife of Justin) Cordell, of Chambersburg, PA, and a brother Harold (husband of Patty) Gordon, of Breezewood, PA. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother Roger Naugle, sister Linda Martz and a grandson Dalton Skiles.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
