Donald R. Buterbaugh, III, 37, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Thursday, April 11th, 2019 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Donald was born in Waynesboro, PA on December 20, 1981, the son of Linda L. (Bingaman) DeShong (wife of Donald), of Breezewood, PA and Donald R. Buterbaugh, Jr. (husband of Melissa), of McConnellsburg, PA.
He graduated from Southern Fulton High School in 2000 and was a welder/fabricator at General Fasteners in McConnellsburg, PA. Donald enjoyed cars, airplanes and playing guitars with his son.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by son Donald R. Buterbaugh, IV, of McConnellsburg, PA, fiance Amy M. Groce, sisters Marsha L. (wife of Jesse) Vance, of Hustontown, PA, Patricia E. DeShong, of Hustontown, PA, Shannon M. (wife of Clint) Cole, of McConnellsburg, PA, Alicia "Shorty" M. (wife of Josh) DeShong, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Megan E. (companion Tanner Shoop) Buterbaugh, of McConnellsburg, PA, brothers David M. (husband of Tonya Schetrompf) McDaniel, of Needmore, PA, Matthew A. (companion Mandi DeShong) Buterbaugh, Sr., of McConnellsburg, PA, Quentin "Chuck" A. DeShong, of Breezewood, PA, maternal grandparents Donald and Marlene Bingaman, of Greencastle, PA, Bonnie Baughman, of Harrisonville, PA, Esta DeShong, of Harrisonville, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Barbara E. and Donald R. Buterbaugh, Sr., Clifford DeShong and Robert Baughman, Jr.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church.
Religious Service at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 with Pastor William Swope officiating.
Interment at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
