Dixie Sue Mellott Fix

 Dixie Sue Mellott Fix, 94, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 at her residence.

    Dixie was born in Andover, PA on August 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Susie (Thomas) and Orien  Mellott.  She was the widow of Howard J. Fix whom she married on March 30, 1946 and he passed away on December 28, 2006.

     Mrs. Fix was a 1943 graduate of the Green Hill High School in Harrisonville, PA and was a member of the Siloam United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, PA where she also was an officer of the Siloam Cemetery Association from 1960 to 2005.  She had worked at the Letterkenny Army Depot and Sagner, Inc.

     Dixie is survived by son John H. (husband of Darlene) Fix, Sr., of Harrisonville, PA, grandsons John H. Fix, Jr., of Harrisonville, PA, Jason R. Fix, of Harrisonville, PA, David Fix Lehman, of Stoytown, PA, Jeremy Lehman, of Greencastle, PA and great grandson Ethan Lucas Fix.  Dixie was preceded in death by son David H. Fix who passed away on February 22, 1971.

     Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 1st, 2019  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

     Interment at Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
