Cynthia Guilfoy Obituary

  Cynthia L. "Cindy" Guilfoy, 61, of Breezewood, PA passed away Sunday, May 12th, 2019 at her residence.

     Cindy was born in Cleveland, OH on May 3, 1958, the daughter of Kathleen A. (Sullivan) and Ronald D. Nash, of New Lexington, OH.  She was the wife of William F. "Bill"  Guilfoy whom she married on December 31, 2012.

     She was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church in McConnellsburg, PA. In her younger years Cindy was a nurse until becoming a full time Nanny.  She was also a Party-Lite consultant for many years, enjoyed going for motorcycle rides with her husband and spending time with her family

     In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her step-daughters Brandi L. (wife of David) Caro, of Mercersburg, PA, Shannon WT. Guilfoy, of Hustontown, PA and step-son Shawn P. Guilfoy, of Frederick, MD.  Cindy was a second mother to Carlyle Smith, Matthew Smith, Robert Smith, IV, Brian Smith, Sarah Futrell and Tyler Futrell.  She is also survived by sisters Laura (wife of Bill) Malone, of Connecticut, Sharon Nash, of South Carolina, Karen (wife of Greg) Christie, of California, Amy English (wife of Mark Ross), of New Lexington, OH, brother Brian (husband of Tina) Nash, of Medina, OH and granddaughter Katherine Guilfoy.  Cindy was preceded in death by an infant brother.

     A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Stephen Catholic Church, McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 1st, 2019  with Father Matthew Baum officiating.

     Interment will be held at a later date.

     The family requests the omission of flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation National Headquarters, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.
