Blair Eugene "Dude" Hann, 88, of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Monday, November 11th, 2019 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Dude was born in Webster Mill, PA on September 17, 1931, the son of the late Adaline (Kuhn) and Rush David Hann. He was the widower of Helen B. (Bain) Hann whom he married on September 7, 1957 and she passed away on June 28, 2018.
Mr. Hann served in the U.S. Army as a SP3 (T) in the Korean War and was a member of the Webster Mill Free Brethren Church in Webster Mill, PA. He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1993 after thirty plus years of employment. Dude enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by daughters Eugenia L. (wife of Darryl) Kipe, of McConnellsburg, PA, Via E. (wife of Michael A.) Shaw, of Needmore, PA, Robin L. (wife of Michael) Hoffman, of Big Cove Tannery, PA,
son-in-law Johnny E. Adams, of Chaneysville, PA, brothers John E. (husband of Helen) Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA, Chalmer L. (husband of Lois) Hann, of Chambersburg, PA, grandchildren Beth Ann (wife of Bobby) Lynn, Cala (wife of Travis) High, Christopher (husband of Anje) Hoffman, Lasha (wife of Mitchell) Thompson, Jeneice (wife of Nathan) Shaw-Wuertenberg, Andrew (husband of Serena) Shaw, great grandchildren Benjamin, Issac and Eva High, Annabelle and Lorelei Hoffman, Alexis and Layla Shaw and special niece Tinna Patton. Dude was preceded in death by daughter Doris E. Adams, sisters Arlene Kuykendall, Jessie Fix, Cleo Younker, Lois Leery, brothers Harold H., Melvin L., Frank E. and Elmer E. Hann.
Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15th, 2019 with Pastor Russell Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Interment at Antioch Christian Cemetery, Big Cove Tannery, PA.
Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
