Saundra E. "GramCracker" Miller, 84, of Gardners, PA and formerly of Three Springs, PA passed away Thursday, March 21st, at The Church of God Home in Carlisle, PA.
Saundra was born in Three Springs, PA on July 10, 1939, a daughter of the late Viola (Snyder) and Lawrence "Hunk" Flasher.
She was a homemaker. She attended various churches throughout her life. Saundra was also a very skilled baker. She was known for her delicious strawberry pie, lemon meringue pie, chocolate peanut butter pie and the best homemade bread. She was often seen eating peanut butter cups , which was her favorite candy. Please remember Saundra the next time you have one.
She was a loving mother and father, doing the roles of both, raising her children throughout their lives.
She is survived by her daughter Kathleen (wife of Michael) Yeager, of Biglerville, PA, son William (husband of Norma) Schooley, of Maddensville, PA, daughter Maggie (wife of Danny) Myers, of Gardners, PA, son Mark Schooley, of North Port, FL, son Johnny Miller, of Albuquerque, NM, brother Joe Flasher, of Newville, PA and brother Sam (husband of Karen) Flasher, of Three Springs, PA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Judy Cutchall, Pat Snyder and brother Sonny Flasher.
Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 25th, with Pastor Dustin Boden officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Interment will be at Siloam United Methodist Cemetery Harrisonville, PA.
