Kole Timothy Kendall, 22, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 in Valley Lee, MD.
Kole was born in Waynesboro, PA on July 6, 2001, a son of Lori Marie (Rhone) and Daniel Webster Kendall, of McConnellsburg, PA.
Kole was enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. He was a 2019 graduate of Forbes Road High School. He attended the Dublin Mills Community Church. Kole enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing baseball. His proudest moment was winning the District V baseball championship with his Forbes Road team. Kole was always a "keep it simple" kind of person.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Lane (husband of Jessie) Kendall, of Warfordsburg, PA, sister Payton Kendall, of McConnellsburg, PA and sister Ginnah Kendall, of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Henry Kendall, Jr. and Linda Kendall of Waynesboro, PA and his maternal grandparents Curvin and Barbara Rhone of Waynesboro, PA. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother LaRue Strang and his great grandfather Henry Kendall, Sr.
There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4 PM till 8 PM. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.
Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 22nd, with Jeremy Fletcher officiating. There will also be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kole to Breakwater Alliance Foundation @ www.bwafoundation.org.
Interment will be at Strang Cemetery in South Mountain, PA. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard.
