Herbert H. Koontz, 52, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Friday, October 28th, 2011 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.
Herbert was born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 31, 1958, the son of the late Clair W. and Alberta (Winter) Koontz. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Plessinger) Koontz whom he married on April 14, 1985.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA and was an electrical mechanical drafter and designer at Newcomer Associates in Chambersburg, PA for twenty-five years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by Son Christopher A. Koontz of Warfordsburg, PA, Daughter Christina E. Koontz of Warfordsburg, PA, Sisters JoAnne R. Hollenshead of Needmore, PA, Kay S. Anderson of Needmore, PA and Brother David C. Koontz of Mercersburg, PA.
Religious Service at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 3013 Pleasant Grove Road, Warfordsburg, PA, 17267 at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 with Pastor Denver Plessinger and Pastor Roger Truax officiating.
Interment at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
There will be visitation on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 3013 Pleasant Grove Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267. There will also be visitation one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
